The Jerusalem Artichoke is also known as the sunchoke (after it’s sunflower like blooms), sunroot or topinambur.

Harvested for the knobbly roots, you can enjoy these roasted, puréed, sautéed, dipped in batter and fried, or made into a soup. 

We sourced our heritage varieties from Koanga Gardens, with this variety originally from Southland.
